Terms and Conditions

In the following notes and conditions “The Customer” shall mean the purchaser of the goods and “The Company” shall mean Tidy Bedrooms Limited.


The dimensions indicated on the contract drawing are a close approximation but may need to be adjusted at the point of installation.

Floors, backs and sides will only be fitted if specified by the customer.

There may be a join in material used over 2440mm long.

Please read and note the conditions of trading below. Any changes made in the room subsequent to the date of this document and which may affect the installation shown herein should be notified to the company immediately.

The customer is responsible for the relocation or removal of electrical and pipe work services and appliances, carpets, existing furniture or other obstructions not to be contained within the installation and making good all surfaces prior to our attendance.

Although as much of the furniture system as possible is pre-fabricated, the made to measure nature of the product may necessitate the cutting and scribing of long panels on the premises and you are requested to ensure that adequate working space is made available where possible.

Please notify the company if at any stage it becomes known that a 240 volt power supply will, or may not be available during the agreed installation period.

Non availability of supply may preclude commencement and/or completion within the agreed period.

Under obligations of Health and Safety, customers are kindly requested not to be present in the room when the works are in progress.

Where lights are fitted, the electrical feed will be taken from the nearest 13amp socket which may necessitate running a surface wire from the wardrobe to the socket. Where this is not acceptable, a lead with a 13 amp plug fitted will be left for the customer’s own Electrician to connect to an acceptable manner at the customer’s cost.

It is the customer’s responsibility to give the company as much notice as possible of changes to fitting dates. Where less than one week’s notice is given of a required date change and charge of £200 per fitting day will be levied to cover costs.

Colour tones, textures and grains vary from one batch to another, please be aware that furniture purchased from Tidy Bedrooms may not match furniture purchased from another company. Samples are supplied in good faith but may not match the particular batch supplied.

Tidy Bedrooms Ltd undertakes to repair or replace the product or part of the product free of charge in respect of both parts and labour if the product develops a fault due to defective construction or materials within one year or develops a fault in silvering or painting of any glass product within 15 years of the date of installation, subject to our guarantee conditions (full details can be found on https://www.tidybedrooms.co.uk/15-year-guarantee).


Unless agreed otherwise in writing, in placing an order the customer shall be deemed to accept and abide by the conditions set out hereunder.

The extent of the works to be undertaken shall be limited to the installation of the items indicated on the contract drawings provided such items enable proper and efficient use of their purpose.

In the interests of continued improvement of its products and methods of installation, the company reserves the right to change such methods and specifications without notice.

Whilst the company warrants to carry out the works diligently and to exercise all reasonable precautions in the course thereof, due to the nature of the works the company shall not be held liable for damage to decorations local to the area of installation.

The customer accepts that the quotation price is based upon clear access to the works from 8am on the fitting day and unhindered working conditions to the reasonable requirement of the company.

Full payment is required at time of order.

The normal completion period (s) for installation of the works will be stated by the company prior to commencement of works. Where, subject to circumstances beyond the control of the company such period(s) need to be extended/altered new period(s) shall be agreed between the customer and the company without liability attaching to either party in respect thereof.

The company shall not be held responsible for delays to installations caused due to industrial action by third parties beyond its control.

Property in any goods shall not pass to the customer until all sums outstanding from the customer to the company whether in respect of goods or for any other reason whatsoever have been paid in full by the customer.


Our wardrobes are designed and built to your specification therefore cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is accepted. In this case, after payment is made you will have entered into a binding contract to buy the goods, and because the goods are being made to your specification you will not be able to cancel that contract.


Tidy Bedrooms Ltd is committed to giving our clients the highest level of service from the most qualified staff whilst never compromising on our standards and ethics. As well as carrying out internal monitoring of our quality standards, we actively request feedback from our clients on how we are performing looking for opportunities to improve our customer service.

A key commitment of Tidy Bedrooms Ltd, is the organisation will handle any complaints both speedily and fairly. When something does not go as planned, we want you to let us know so we can take action and provide appropriate solutions.

Should you feel it necessary to make a complaint, please email info( @ )tidybedrooms.co.uk and, we will commit to the following:

  • An acknowledgment letter will be sent within five working days
  • Assign your complaint to a named person who will deal with the complaint throughout the process
  • Keep you informed by phone call or email should there be any delays
  • Liaise, at your request, with anyone acting formally on your behalf
  • Our team will deal with it fully and provide a final response, in writing, within 28 working days of receipt
  • The final response will either accept, reject or offer remedial action in regards to the complaint
  • If for any reason a final response is not decided upon, a written response will be sent explaining why

If for any reason you are not satisfied with our final response, or we exceed the response timescales, you may refer your complaint to The Furniture Ombudsman Service or The Financial Ombudsman Service (reason dependant):
